At Level Headed Construction, we prioritise your safety above all. Please respect our guidelines—your safety is the framework of our integrity.

1.0 Permission

  • Do not enter the work site without permission.
  • If asked to leave the work site please do so (it is for your own safety).

1.1 Children

  • Children should not be brought to or enter the work site (otherwise they must be directly supervised at all times).
  • Do not let children climb on equipment or structures.

1.2 Excavation

  • Keep clear at all times.
  • Remain visible to the operator.
  • Do not climb on or touch equipment.

1.3 Traffic

  • Stay visible to the operator.
  • Stay clear of vehicle unloading areas, if you can’t see them they can’t see you.

1.4 Electrocution

  • Do not touch any electrical wiring.
  • Do not interfere with electrical devices.

1.5 Reinforcing Steel

  • Take extra caution near steel.
  • Do not remove caps.
  • Report any uncapped steel to the site supervisor.

1.6 Trips, Slips & Falls

  • Watch your step.
  • Keep clear of work areas.
  • Stay on defined routes.

1.7 Ladders & Scaffold

  • Do not climb on work site.
  • Only use ladders with permission & supervision.

1.8 Power Tools

  • Do not touch power tools without permission & training.
  • Wear hearing protection if in close proximity.
  • Keep well clear if in operation.

1.9 Safety Gear

  • Ensure you wear appropriate footwear.
  • Wear person protection equipment when required/asked e.g. earmuffs, eye protection, appropriate footwear.

1.10 Stacked Materials

  • Do not touch or move any stacked materials.
  • Keep well clear.
  • Keep children away.

1.11 Explosions

  • Stay clear of welding & other hot works.
  • No smoking or naked flames on site.
  • Do not touch gas cylinders or flammable substances.
